MAC's Basic B*tch Palette Is the Pettiest Beauty Launch of 2017

A little insight from New York to Milan the pros of  MAC Cosmetics  have been flaunting upcoming launches,   BUT   a preview of a palette has me especially excited. Behind the scenes during Milan Fashion Week, MAC senior artist Netta Szekely took to her Instagram account to tease the pettily-titled "Basic B*tch" palette, which is said to feature all new shades and textures. The long, rectangular compact holds nine pans of pigment with   hilarious names , including:   Gameplayer,  Hell in Heels,  Me Me Me,  and Text Me Later .  The cool-toned shades range from a sparkling pewter to burgundy. From my personal experience backstage at any Fashion Week is a magical place. Not only do you get to see stylists and makeup artists showcase their talents on some of the most beautiful women in the world, but you get a sneak peek at new products that won't hit shelves for months, but based on the delectable colors inside, we'd guess that it wil

Air-brushed Perfection

I have spent tons of cash updating my tools with the latest brushes and trends. I was still in need of finding a brush that felt like velvet but gave me the air brushed finish. I was introduced to the Real Technique   brushes at a Make-up expo and fell in love with the results. I bought myself the Expert Face Brush, The starter kit and the core collection kit from clicks. It set me back a good few pennies, well actually R1800-00 to be correct. I went home like a kid that god a ton of sweets, super excited and eager to play. I took them all out and analysed them in detailed.  I had tried each brush out with my different products, that I do have, I played for hours and each time i achieved an Airbrush finish with a soft velvet feel of a brush. I was so impressed i tried it on varies friends to see if the effect is the same. to my surprise... Yes... it was... I don't regret buying them, it just takes a while of saving to buy all the brushes launched b

Rub-a-dub-dub

I have typical combination skin, with the oily T-patch. I have had acne in my late teen years and I have been on Roaccutane. I am well aware of the skin care routines, as i studied it in Make-up artistry school, and, have been trained by my Dermatologist "how to care for your skin". My skin takes a lashing from products , as it is what sells my service as an artist, therefore it was imperative for me to find a face wash that will gently cleanse and calm my T-zone, yet effectively clean the grime off after a days work. I have product hoped for many months till I started using Nivea Facial Wash Gel, in 2016 March. I was skeptical as usual as most face washes seem to solve the problem and after 6 months of use I'm back at square one, with an oily T-zone, blotchy skin and using tons of make up to hide it. I have used this product for almost a year and I can confidently say I have found my facial wash, to stick by. I use the face wash twice a day, it gently cleans

The Lash Thing....

I am personally a fan of essence products, they are great quality and affordable. I have naturally long thick lashes and I love to add extra volume and length for that false lash look. The "I heart extreme mascara" for me is a great buy. The products gives volume and extends lashes and they dry separately rather than clumpy. I found that the product goes on with ease and the brush is versatile and flexible for the shape of my eye.  I did a trial of applying 2 to 3 coats to see if the lashes would clump or if they'd feel heavy but they still felt light and full of volume. The colour is truly pitch black which is an added extra for me, as I love wearing a the essence gel black pencil liner and the mascara finishes off my look. On the down side I found the mascara tends to clump and dry out in the bottle when its almost finished, I was unsure if it was because I pushed too much air into the bottle when i pumped the wand in or was it the make up itself that drie
