DIY Picture Perfect

Ever had that moment when you all dressed up, makeup and hair are on point, and you want a perfect picture, to capture the moment.... and...    it just looks like you been dragged through the mud and plucked into a picture and it doesnt even look like you....  Hate those moments literally.... AAAgghh Celebs,they’re just like us. They aren’t born camera-ready. In fact, according to models and actors, there’s a specific technique to looking perfect and confident....in every pic. You gotta squinch. Squinch.... you heard right. " What the hell is squinching, you ask? Benefit Cosmetics

With spring finally here, invites the launch of  Benefit Cosmetics  in South Africa. I cannot put my excitement into words, I am super excited this brand returned to South Africa.  I missed it the first time around as they were stocked in Woolworths and pulled out of South Africa in 2012. I’ve seen their products on websites, Instagram and Youtube videos, but I was always too scared to have them shipped to SA and being slapped with high duty tax costs. Reading older South African reviews though, I’m scared at what the prices will be. For instance, in 2012, the  Cha Cha Tint  (Mango Lip & Cheek Stain) was priced at R315. On the Benefit website today, it’s priced at $30 and after factoring in 14% tax and profit mark ups, I’m hoping I’ll be able to walk out with an impressive. This time around, Benefit is setting up fort in selected  Edgars  and  Red Square  stores. So far there are only Johannesburg & Cape Town selected stores but I’m sure they’ll be rolling
