Dress it....

As recently requested by one of my lovely followers.... They needed a lil help with a trend factor on dresses. they requested a dress that was in fashion and was glam enough for Eid but also wearable for the office....

I made it a point to shop out some hot and top trends, that can be mixed and matched to the office and to personality. It can be dressed up for glam and dressed down to the office. They all hit their individual wow! factor and they add spice to the winter chill....

Let's Start at the beginning of trend...

The mix of fabric, the leather and sheer metallic give an illusion of a futuristic feel and with a touch of fabrics such as silk, wool, would add to the evolving of the new age fashion and the more individualistic character of the garment.

The square lines taken from men's clothing giving a more box shoulder and the adding of waistbands, give an hourglass figure. the straight lines and geometric corners are used to relax the look on fabric but also to enhance the femininity of the person wearing it.

The trend of tights under anything. These dresses are of various styles and cuts, patterns and fabrics, but the rule is to add tights under them. the colour of the tights must be contrasting to the dress colour and they need to be bold and pop! the garment so you look glam and chic.
Sequins or bling, add it to any dress to give the glamour of the reflecting night lights or the sheer sheen of the dawning sun. Either way the shimmer and shine allows one to stand out in a crowd and glow with joy.

Busy bottom half of dresses call for the top half to be more simple and less complex and it works vice verso. The velvet is the fabric of winter, unique cuts, embroidery and art work in velvet can add spice to any plain or simply ordinary velvet dress.

Metallic fabrics are the new trend in all seasons, not only in winter. It is a great investment if one tends to use their clothing for all seasons, rather than just co-ordinate per a season. The metallic fabric gives depth and movement to a dress, which allows the wearer to add character to their outfit and show off their bolder side.

Lace.... the love of all... Lace can be used as trims, or deco of as fabric for dresses.... for this trend add a lace over layer to your dress or lace panels, add lace to contrast the lining colours. The lace adds vintage glam to any dress.

With these top trends of winter, that are versitile, choose a dress that you will enjoy and fall in love with. Dresses are fun and playful, they ment to bring out the best in you....

Dress it up.... or .... Dress it down.... Let the dress you choose spice up your winter chills....

The Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition

Move over... Creamy  color  correctors! There's a new set of skin-evening formulas in town, and they now come in powder form.    Allow me to introduce you to the just-launched Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition set, which features,  count 'em ,  seven color-correcting powders. In honor of Shiseido's O.G. Rainbow Beauty Powder, which launched in 1917 almost 100 years ago , the beauty giant just dropped a gorgeous, limited-edition set of color-correcting powders, all neatly packaged in small satin cream-colored boxes reminiscent of sweet little  engagement ring  boxes. Sadly, no sparklers were stashed in these mini cases. Like other color correctors on the market, these powders are designed to cover specific issues. So, for example, white, which should be applied to the T-zone, brightens; yellow evens out the complexion all over; beige smooths texture; rose, which should be brushed on the apples of ...

An update on havoc, or maybe not... PART 1

OMG, This was typed out and I forgot to post it. So, as promised I would give an update on my new take on life for 2018. One month down the line and I have no words to associate with this way of life. It had strong points, weak points and points of pure surprise. Being un-ruled by uniformity and time limits, self given freedom, made days go by with such bliss. I would go to work and eat at odd times, do work in my own time and realized I worked better working at my own pace with no background harping from management behind me. How did I get management to back off my case, I didn't do it intentionally, it was a random out burst of frustration. I was handed a project to handle with a 2 day tight time frame, and, me going through a phase of rebellious change was not going to keep to this time frame, unless I truly wanted to, which at that point I didn't want to. I had brainstormed ideas and methods of completion of the work and choosing the quickest way forward. It was ...

Mystique Galaxy Palette

So as promised my swatch and part 1 review of the  @mystique.beauty galaxy palette.  Firstly I would like to say I always am honest and true about the products I review and personally try them out on myself first before my family and friends. I was super psyched to receive this palette from  @mystique.beauty  as it was one I was eyeing for a while. So excited I swatched it the same day. I must say the colours are eye-catching and alluring. They gave me tons of makeup ideas to try out by just looking at them. The shadows looked highly pigmented and they were when I swatched it on my arm. As viewed in the pics. There are 2 colours that disappointed me, I have marked them in my pictures. The royal blue is more purple pigmented so it is deceiving and I was disappointed as I wanted a royal blue shadow. The second was the teal. I swatched it and was so happy it was the same colour but after 30mins it became li...
