Most Beautiful Road Race....

Nothing like a Sunday morning that begins with a....

I took up a challenge to do the Most Beautiful Road Race" 5km as a starter to my energy pack new goal. I felt even though i keep fit and active with various activities, such as: yoga, cycling, zumba and walks...

I needed to do something for a cause....
something with value...
something that makes a difference....

I signed up and received my number and a t-shirt and a number to wear on my run.
With a heatwave that hit JHB it was evident it was going to be a hot and heated run, and it was exactly that.... There were over 124 000 entries and it was a sea of pink all through the streets.

It was a run that kept me on my toes, with jogging down hill and walking up hill.... so unlike a fit person to be doing.... lol.... but until I saw a ferrari.... and when I saw red my heart skipped a beat and I slowly trotted backwards to get a closer view..... People probably thought I was insane but nothing makes my heart stop like a red ferrari.....  i had a good look and carried on my merry way.

I finished in good timing and took a decision there and then more walks/runs for a good cause will be on my bucket list....

Till my next venture

m!ss wiss....

More often than not, less is more when it comes to makeup, but for most of us, wearing less makeup is easier done when you have great skin. Few people have naturally perfect skin. The condition of the skin changes from day to day and season to season, but you can always improve it by taking good care of yourself. Beautiful skin begins with a healthy lifestyle. Oooh!, not all of us are on that track yet, especially not me. Skincare basics include: 1.   Nutrition -your diet has a direct impact on not on...

The Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition

Move over... Creamy  color  correctors! There's a new set of skin-evening formulas in town, and they now come in powder form.    Allow me to introduce you to the just-launched Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition set, which features,  count 'em ,  seven color-correcting powders. In honor of Shiseido's O.G. Rainbow Beauty Powder, which launched in 1917 almost 100 years ago , the beauty giant just dropped a gorgeous, limited-edition set of color-correcting powders, all neatly packaged in small satin cream-colored boxes reminiscent of sweet little  engagement ring  boxes. Sadly, no sparklers were stashed in these mini cases. Like other color correctors on the market, these powders are designed to cover specific issues. So, for example, white, which should be applied to the T-zone, brightens; yellow evens out the complexion all over; beige smooths texture; rose, which should be brushed on the apples of ...
