To be lighter or To be darker.....

So my recent visit to The Body shop


 for a body fix has left me mesmerized at the new found development in foundation and skin matching at The Body Shop. Their foundation is available in 16 nature inspired shades and now can be modified with shade adjusters to match your skin tone perfectly. here's a mini review on their foundation and the shade adjusters. I will be adding a follow up personal pic review later next week.






Fresh Nude Foundation




Makeup and looking fabulous every day should be a  easy and painless. according to The Body Shop their  Fresh Nude Foundation, enriched with English rose water and aloe vera, this hydrating formula leaves skin feeling beautifully fresh and comfortable all day. It also contains SPF 15 to help protect your skin. With a semi-matte finish, each of these 16 nature-inspired shades mimics the look of fresh-faced natural skin with a nude glow. It has up to 24H moisturisation and SPF 15.  It is suitable for sensitive skin & dermatological tested

Now....

 That they have realised that their 16 nature inspired shades do not cater to all skin tones, they have launched 2 products to assist in the adjustment of shades to acquire your perfect shade.

SHADE ADJUSTING DROPS


No one likes to settle for second best, or not the perfect fit.... now The Body Shop has launched their Shade Adjusting Drops help turn an almost there foundation into the perfect one.

                                               LIGHTENING DROPS
If you have light to medium skin you may find your foundation looks too dark or orange. A concentration of white and pink pigments in our Lightening Drops helps neutralise yellowness while lightening. Simply add a drop to lighten light to medium shades.
• For use with light to medium foundation shades 
• Transform an “almost right” foundation shade into the perfect one 
• 1 drop = ½ a shade lighter
• Works with most liquid foundations
                                        
DARKENING DROPS 

 If you have dark to deep skin you may find your foundation looks too light or ashy. A concentration of black and red pigments in our Darkening Drops helps darken while keeping the natural depth. Simply add a drop to darken dark to deep foundation shades. 
• For use with dark to deep foundation tones 
• Transform an “almost right” foundation shade into the perfect one 
• 1 drop = ½ a shade darker 
• Works with most liquid foundations


This basic review from the store and the website, this makes me wants to purchase it and test it.

An update on havoc, or maybe not... PART 1

OMG, This was typed out and I forgot to post it. So, as promised I would give an update on my new take on life for 2018. One month down the line and I have no words to associate with this way of life. It had strong points, weak points and points of pure surprise. Being un-ruled by uniformity and time limits, self given freedom, made days go by with such bliss. I would go to work and eat at odd times, do work in my own time and realized I worked better working at my own pace with no background harping from management behind me. How did I get management to back off my case, I didn't do it intentionally, it was a random out burst of frustration. I was handed a project to handle with a 2 day tight time frame, and, me going through a phase of rebellious change was not going to keep to this time frame, unless I truly wanted to, which at that point I didn't want to. Ever Beauty

I personally have never heard of  Ever Beauty® South Africa  , till I had come across the advert on Instagram.
