LBD...

Every gal’s got her signature LBD (Little Black Dress). In fact, many have a closet full! Whether it’s a lacy black number for a romantic date or a pencil dress for the office, not only is there a dress for that, but a makeup look to match! And we’ve got the perfect combos for your collection, no matter the occasion.
Makeup Look to Match Your Date Night LBD

Date Night Makeup

Step 1Apply primer to the skin before foundation to ensure your makeup lasts all night — especially if it’s going to be a long one! Using a beauty blender or foundation brush, apply a matte foundation to your face, like L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation.
Step 2Using a matte bronzer or contouring palette (the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette has it all!), lightly contour the hollows of your cheekbones and along your jawline for a more defined look.

Step 3. Using a fluffy shadow brush, dust a matte brown shade  all over the lid and buff it outward.
Step 4. Complete this classic look with a swipe of matte red lipstick and you’re ready for your red-hot date!
Work Makeup
Step 1. Using your fingers, pat on an eye shadow primer to prevent any smudging or fading that can occur during your long workday. Then, dust a soft, taupe shade (try NYX Hot Singles Eye Shadow in Lace) on the inner corner of your eyelids using a blending eye shadow brush.

Step 2. Apply a shimmery, maroon shade like NYX Hot Singles Eye Shadow in Flustered onto the outer corners of the eyes and blend inward toward the middle of your lid and crease. Line your upper and lower lash line with a black kohl liner like Maybelline Master Kajal and buff the liner out just slightly for a softer look. Then, swipe on your fave mascara!

Night Out Makeup
Step 1. Girls’ night is all about having fun with your look! Start with radiant, dewy skin by lightly contouring your cheekbones and jawline, then loading up on highlighter along the top of your cheekbones, on your brow bone, nose and Cupid’s bow.

Step 2. Blend in a shimmery, taupe eye shadow like Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Easy Baked all over your lid and line your top and bottom lash line with black liner. Dust some of the taupe shadow along the inner corner of your lash line as well.
Step 3To prevent bleeding, line your lips with either an invisible liner or bright fuchsia lip pencil. Fill your lips in (using a lip brush for extra precision) with an ultra-bright magenta lipstick like Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids in Brazen Berry

With these make-up tips and tricks, you can make your LBD look larger than life... Have fun with your make-up.

“Great Makeup begins With Great Skin”

Makeup, as girls we long for the day to finally wear our own makeup, but do we understand the use of it? Do we realize the perfect makeup look is achieved from great skincare? Do we know what our skin requires? I want to take you along on a journey of “Great Makeup begins With Great Skin” Makeup is meant to enhance your best features, not cover them. The first thing people should notice when they look at you is how radiant and gorgeous you look, not your makeup. More often than not, less is more when it comes to makeup, but for most of us, wearing less makeup is easier done when you have great skin. Few people have naturally perfect skin. The condition of the skin changes from day to day and season to season, but you can always improve it by taking good care of yourself. Beautiful skin begins with a healthy lifestyle. Oooh!, not all of us are on that track yet, especially not me. Skincare basics include: 1.   Nutrition -your diet has a direct impact on not on...

The power of the Haldi Ubtan

Lil spice never stop the sun from shining... 😂😂😂 In my previous post named "Turmeric for clear, bright and acne free skin" posted on the mid 2017, are some variations to this haldi ubtan, used for various skin types and conditions. I have been using and speaking about 'Turmeric Masks" before most people  and companies have been investing time and testing into turmeric and it's properties.. The new craze is the 'Golden magic of turmeric', and people are buying into it, without knowing the history and origin of it.  Here's a bit of Background: 5000 years ago on the Indian subcontinent, men and women took care of their skin and hair during rituals connected with religion.   In the ancient   Ayurveda   tradition, face and body masks called  U btan   were applied and adjusted according to the season. Ubtan masks are in fact the very first cosmetic product ever used in the world. Ubtan is a mix of various herbs, p...
