It's Happening!!! The Big Shocker???

It's Official!

Kylie Cosmetics Is Collaborating With Kim Kardashian West

I am Shocked, we are SHOOK!
It was just yesterday, to be honest, it was less than three weeks ago, that social media was alight with the news that reality star-turned-unstoppable fashion and beauty mogul Kim Kardashian was working on a top secret project with Pat McGrath. Pat McGrath is one of the industry's most beloved and influential makeup artists, who just so happens to pal around with the Kardashian/Jenner/West clan on occasion.

After much fanfare, it was revealed that Kardashian simply played muse in a new video to promote the latest launch from Pat McGrath Labs, Dark Star 006, complete with a glittery, smoky eye that seemingly only McGrath could achieve and a soundtrack by Kanye West. It's clear that Kardashian knows a thing or two about beauty and that she's passed some of the wisdom along to her three-year-old daughter, North, so it was only a matter of time before she joined forces with the biggest up-and-comer in the cosmetics game.

On Tuesday, Kylie Cosmetics tweeted a teaser video promising a forthcoming project from two members of America's most famous family. Which can be viewed above. The only information that we can glean is that the mysterious
"KKW X KYLIE COSMETICS"
joint is "coming soon", and that it likely involves a Lip Kit or gloss, as the duo is shown applying a neutral lip color in the clip. In addition, Kardashian and Jenner are styled to look exactly alike in the promo, from the long, sleek pin-straight black hair, to the golden, glowing skin to the bold brows.

As you may recall, Kylie most recently did a collection with her sister Khloé. To my recollection, this is Kim's first cosmetics venture since Kardashian Beauty shuttered last year. While this collaboration has both women's names on it, it's clear that Kim Kardashian is the predominant inspiration. With stellar looks like hers and a fan base of millions aching to emulate them, it is likely a smart marketing strategy.

The Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition

Move over... Creamy  color  correctors! There's a new set of skin-evening formulas in town, and they now come in powder form.    Allow me to introduce you to the just-launched Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition set, which features,  count 'em ,  seven color-correcting powders. In honor of Shiseido's O.G. Rainbow Beauty Powder, which launched in 1917 almost 100 years ago , the beauty giant just dropped a gorgeous, limited-edition set of color-correcting powders, all neatly packaged in small satin cream-colored boxes reminiscent of sweet little  engagement ring  boxes. Sadly, no sparklers were stashed in these mini cases. Like other color correctors on the market, these powders are designed to cover specific issues. So, for example, white, which should be applied to the T-zone, brightens; yellow evens out the complexion all over; beige smooths texture; rose, which should be brushed on the apples of ...

An update on havoc, or maybe not... PART 1

OMG, This was typed out and I forgot to post it. So, as promised I would give an update on my new take on life for 2018. One month down the line and I have no words to associate with this way of life. It had strong points, weak points and points of pure surprise. Being un-ruled by uniformity and time limits, self given freedom, made days go by with such bliss. I would go to work and eat at odd times, do work in my own time and realized I worked better working at my own pace with no background harping from management behind me. How did I get management to back off my case, I didn't do it intentionally, it was a random out burst of frustration. I was handed a project to handle with a 2 day tight time frame, and, me going through a phase of rebellious change was not going to keep to this time frame, unless I truly wanted to, which at that point I didn't want to. I had brainstormed ideas and methods of completion of the work and choosing the quickest way forward. It was ...

Mystique Galaxy Palette

So as promised my swatch and part 1 review of the  @mystique.beauty galaxy palette.  Firstly I would like to say I always am honest and true about the products I review and personally try them out on myself first before my family and friends. I was super psyched to receive this palette from  @mystique.beauty  as it was one I was eyeing for a while. So excited I swatched it the same day. I must say the colours are eye-catching and alluring. They gave me tons of makeup ideas to try out by just looking at them. The shadows looked highly pigmented and they were when I swatched it on my arm. As viewed in the pics. There are 2 colours that disappointed me, I have marked them in my pictures. The royal blue is more purple pigmented so it is deceiving and I was disappointed as I wanted a royal blue shadow. The second was the teal. I swatched it and was so happy it was the same colour but after 30mins it became li...
