Picture Perfect.....

With the holidays upon us, festive, summer break and new year's all within reach. We all want to keep memories in the form of photographs to add to our collection, be it in an album or on facebook or instagram... we want to be ready and PICTURE PERFECT....

Well, it’s actually quite simple and, believe me, these 9 simple steps will make your face camera-ready.

1. FLAWLESS SKIN

A spray tan could give us a flawless look but we risk turning orange.... OH! NO....

You will need: Total coverage liquid concealer -at least a shades lighter than your skin, Liquid foundation that matches your skin tone, Translucent powder.
Break-outs, pigmentation, redness… all of these common problems but are completely solvable! Clean and exfoliate your face thoroughly, then use your fingers to apply the lightest shade of total coverage concealer of choice and work the concealer into every crease. Now you look as pale as a ghost..lol..Now over that apply your liquid foundation, now you'll notice your face looks completely normal again....minus the imperfections.... yippee...Blend well and seal with the translucent powder.
2. FULLER LIPS
We could all inject our lips but is it worth it.... NO..

You will need: Lip pencil, lipstick, Lip gloss

Now on to lips... next step is to make them appear perfectly symmetric and perfectly luscious! Outline your lips using lip pencil that either matches your lipstick colour or is one shade darker. Now carefully apply your lipstick and blend the lipstick and lip liner. Finish your look by applying lip gloss to only the center of both lower and upper lip.
3. PERFECT NOSE
We could have a nose job done.... but it could melt like an ice cream on a hot summers day, when put in the spotlight.... hmmmm...

You will need: 2 matte powder foundations-one a shade lighter than skin tone and one darker than skin tone.
This make up trick is a piece of cake, extremely versatile. The technique in question is very similar to air-brushing and involves applying darker shade to the areas you want to make slimmer and lighter shade to the areas you want to point out. A broad nose will appear much slimmer if you sweep the darker shade around its sides and use a lighter one to accent its center, narrow nose needs a reversed procedure to appear wide.
4. FLAWLESS CHEEK BONES

You Will Need: A bronzer, A blush, Big fluffy brush

Having round chubby cheeks, tend to make my face look round when I smile. I had to learn how to be picture perfect. I mastered the skill of creating killer structure with an illusion of shades. I must admit it never made me look "fake" or too "made up". so here is my trick... Dip your fluffy brush into a bronzer then suck your cheeks in and simply follow that natural dent using light, sweeping motions.  Now use the same brush and a shimmery blush to add some colour to your cheekbones .
5. HUGE EYES

You Will Need: White eye pencil, Highlighter, Shimmery White Eyeshadow

So now for the ultimate trick... Well, here’s a make up trick I personally love! After all, which girl doesn’t want a set of big dreamy eyes? And in order to get them start by applying highlighter to the inner corners of your eyes. Once you’ve done that, apply your eye-shadow however you like, then add a dab of very shiny, flesh-color or white eye-shadow to the centers of your upper and lower lid of your eye. Blend lightly  before applying white eye pencil to your lower waterline.

6. PERFECTLY SHAPED EYES

You Will Need: A highlighter, Dark eye-shadow, Light eye-shadow

Anyone can have perfect eyes ...from droopy eyelids, the so-called "sad eyes" or eyes that appear to be bulging out, all this  don’t have to trouble you any longer! The rule here is pretty simple – choose light colors to accent the areas that need to appear wider and dark colors to create the illusion of a crease. Never pull your eyelids up while applying makeup because you won’t be able to tell if the line you’re shading is going to look good once you release them.

7. LONG LASTING MATTE PERFECTION

You Will Need: Loose powder

Oh how we all dread looking all shiny and oily in pictures, as if we haven't spent hours doing our make-up at all... But let me ask you something – which part of your face greases up the first? nose, chin, forehead?  Let’s kick it up a notch- apply a coat of matte powder to seal your liquid foundation and your face will be shine-proof all night long!

8. SHIMMERY CHEEKBONES

You will need: highlighter powder, blush, bronzing powder, blush brush
High cheekbones come naturally to some people and as we've already know they look sexy, sophisticated and glamorous. But what about a good shimmer? Shimmery cheekbones, when done subtly, add that rare sparkle and glow that makes your face look alive. All you need to do is apply a light colored highlighter powder just on the top rim of your cheekbones. Then, apply your bronzing powder right above it, and then your blush in the same manner. Blend everything together with a larger powder brush just for a few seconds, and you've got instantly higher cheekbones, naturally.

9. LONG LASHES

What you need: Voluminous mascara and an eyelash curler
If you don't have long lashes, don't worry because I don't either. Yet, I figured out how to get them! First, curl your lashes with the eyelash curler and then apply  your mascara, fluff out and apply another layer and you're on your way to long lovely lashes that will turn heads everywhere! I
There you go ladies! You want to look fabulous and oh-so-camera-ready! Now you know how to be picture perfect and I bet you’ll want to give these make up tips a try right now!

The new craze is the 'Golden magic of turmeric', and people are buying into it, without knowing the history and origin of it.  Here's a bit of Background: 5000 years ago on the Indian subcontinent, men and women took care of their skin and hair during rituals connected with religion.   In the ancient   Ayurveda   tradition, face and body masks called  U btan   were applied and adjusted according to the season. Ubtan masks are in fact the very first cosmetic product ever used in the world. Ubtan is a mix of various herbs, plants, roots and flowers

An update on havoc or maybe not, PART 2

Here, I thought part 2 would be typed and rolled out in no time, but, it's clearly no surprise that I have slacked and the release is so delayed.  I thought I'd give the havoc and unorganized lifestyle a bit more time and space to spill out in front of me before I give the verdict. Let me down right honest,  "I CANNOT DO THIS ANY LONGER!" I have seen the passed few months literally spill out at me, from unplanned events, to last minute clothing shopping and unexpected set backs, taking me a back. I prefer my daily to be more organised and structured to fit in time  for everything, I plan out months in advance if my wardrobe would need updating and changes, I am hands on with events and coordinating them accordingly, I normally can handle moments of unexpectedness if they rare. I have realized I'm too much of a controller and planner, I need to be organised and well prepared, to allow the unexpected to happen, I'm not one who loves to be surprised
