I signed up and received my number and a t-shirt and a number to wear on my run. With a heatwave that hit JHB it was evident it was going to be a hot and heated run, and it was exactly that.... There were over 124 000 entries and it was a sea of pink all through the streets.  It was a run that kept me on my toes, with jogging down hill and walking up hill.... so unlike a fit person to be doing.... lol.... but until I saw a ferrari.... and when I saw red my heart skipped a beat and I slowly trotted backwards to get a closer view..... With spring finally here, invites the launch of  Benefit Cosmetics  in South Africa. I cannot put my excitement into words, I am super excited this brand returned to South Africa.  I missed it the first time around as they were stocked in Woolworths and pulled out of South Africa in 2012. I’ve seen their products on websites, Instagram and Youtube videos, but I was always too scared to have them shipped to SA and being slapped with high duty tax costs. Reading older South African reviews though, I’m scared at what the prices will be. For instance, in 2012, the  Cha Cha Tint  (Mango Lip & Cheek Stain) was priced at R315. On the Benefit website today, it’s priced at $30 and after factoring in 14% tax and profit mark ups, I’m hoping I’ll be able to walk out with an impressive. This time around, Benefit is setting up fort in selected  Edgars  and  Red Square  stores. So far there are only Johannesburg & Cape Town selected stores but I’m sure they’ll be rolling

Get Eyebrows....that go.... WoW!!!       Want amazing brows like Cara Delevingne? Who doesn't? As a makeup artist, i find brows to be the frame work of any eye makeup look. Here I give you the ins and outs on what — and what not — to do to make your arches look  WoW! To get your brows to look full, lightly shade the hairs above and below your brow to create a barely there shadow. Using a low-oil pencil that's soft, shade on top and underneath your brow to get a slight shadow of color, and then brush your brows upward with a spoolie brush to give them a natural look.   Keep any brow pencil away from your skin where there isn't hair; it's the tell-tale sign that you've colored your arches in. Remember, you want to enhance what you have, not draw on what's not there.   Brushing your brow hairs upward and outward gives them what Streicher calls a "feathered" look.
