2 Week update, with Dove

After  the minimum test period of 2 weeks, I needed to give an update on the Dove duo, I received through Rubybox. It's not just about the brand and product, but it's about the experience and the effects of this duo.

From my previous post, it was clear my hair is color treated and required additional TLC. to be honest I'm not one who constantly styles my hair or blow drys it, or curls it, I'm more of a wash and wear person. Seriously, it's not out of laziness, my hair does take time to dry but I also do not like heat styling it too often, as it causes a large amount of damage. (No one said color treatments don't damage hair, but, that's a debate for another post.) I prefer products that nourishes, doesn't strip my color, yet leaving my hair glossy and healthy.

After of using the Dove shampoo and conditioner duo, for the 2 weeks , I have seen tremendous change in the texture, shine and strength of my hair. My hair, being color treated, and lighter than it's natural shades, makes it fragile and brittle if not cared for correctly. This Dove duo of shampoo and conditioner has not stripped the color, lighten it or even changed the undertones, and neither has it appear dull.

My hair has a radiant shine, even if I used a blow dryer or other heated tools on my hair. I am so impressed with this duo, it has given my hair so much volume, shine, glow, strength in just 2 weeks, its amazing.

I doubt i'll stop raving about this duo, but, I will do one last review after 1 month of use.

xoxo

The power of the Haldi Ubtan

Lil spice never stop the sun from shining... ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ In my previous post named "Turmeric for clear, bright and acne free skin" posted on the mid 2017, are some variations to this haldi ubtan, used for various skin types and conditions. I have been using and speaking about 'Turmeric Masks" before most people  and companies have been investing time and testing into turmeric and it's properties.. The new craze is the 'Golden magic of turmeric', and people are buying into it, without knowing the history and origin of it.  Here's a bit of Background: 5000 years ago on the Indian subcontinent, men and women took care of their skin and hair during rituals connected with religion.   In the ancient   Ayurveda   tradition, face and body masks called  U btan   were applied and adjusted according to the season. Ubtan masks are in fact the very first cosmetic product ever used in the world. Ubtan is a mix of various herbs, plants, roots and flowers

An update on havoc or maybe not, PART 2

Here, I thought part 2 would be typed and rolled out in no time, but, it's clearly no surprise that I have slacked and the release is so delayed.  I thought I'd give the havoc and unorganized lifestyle a bit more time and space to spill out in front of me before I give the verdict. Let me down right honest,  "I CANNOT DO THIS ANY LONGER!" I have seen the passed few months literally spill out at me, from unplanned events, to last minute clothing shopping and unexpected set backs, taking me a back. I prefer my daily to be more organised and structured to fit in time  for everything, I plan out months in advance if my wardrobe would need updating and changes, I am hands on with events and coordinating them accordingly, I normally can handle moments of unexpectedness if they rare. I have realized I'm too much of a controller and planner, I need to be organised and well prepared, to allow the unexpected to happen, I'm not one who loves to be surprised
