BAR OF UNIQUENESS

I'm going to be reviewing the Dettol Even Tone Pomegranate hygiene soap bar

Product's mass :
175g

Product's claim :
Dettol’s trusted germ protection with a unique formula to leave your skin evenly toned, feeling healthy, clean and protected through-out the day.

How to use:
Store in a cool , well-ventilated place away from sunlight. Use twice daily .

Price:
R12,99

Product availability :
checkers , dis-chem , clicks, pick n pay and many more!

What I has to say about the product:
The scent:
I would describe the scent as a very fresh , spa-like smell, the pomegranate scent is alluring and calming . It's highly scented - it leaves my bathroom smelling amazing. However , when the product is applied to my body and face it's not overpowering which is a good thing in my books. It doesn't leave my skin tight or dry. Its moisturizing and delivers on its promise.

The package:
I think the pomegranate picture on the plastic package is a pop of color to the original pearl even tone soap bar. It's a versatile size and it fits perfectly with the scent of the product.

The quality:
I think the quality of this product is excellent . It lather's up really well and is creamy. 175g lasted 2 people just over a week.

My skin type:
Combination & acne-prone .

How did the product react with my skin:
First week:
During the first 3 days of usage my face and body, was taken by shock by the soap , however from the 4th day onward I have started to see immense results.

Second week:
My skin had become smoother , brighter and vibrant . Pimple has started to slowly fade as well as minor marks.

My overall results :
The only con about this product on my body and as well as my face is that it tends to make my face look dry after washing, yet it doesn't feel that way, but after i apply moisturizer i'm good to go. I would highly recommend this product for all you guys!.Hopefully you would be just as satisfied with this product as i am.

Dettol Even Tone pomegranate , you're a keeper!

XOXO

The Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition

Move over... Creamy  color  correctors! There's a new set of skin-evening formulas in town, and they now come in powder form.    Allow me to introduce you to the just-launched Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition set, which features,  count 'em ,  seven color-correcting powders. In honor of Shiseido's O.G. Rainbow Beauty Powder, which launched in 1917 almost 100 years ago , the beauty giant just dropped a gorgeous, limited-edition set of color-correcting powders, all neatly packaged in small satin cream-colored boxes reminiscent of sweet little  engagement ring  boxes. Sadly, no sparklers were stashed in these mini cases. Like other color correctors on the market, these powders are designed to cover specific issues. So, for example, white, which should be applied to the T-zone, brightens; yellow evens out the complexion all over; beige smooths texture; rose, which should be brushed on the apples of ...

An update on havoc, or maybe not... PART 1

OMG, This was typed out and I forgot to post it. So, as promised I would give an update on my new take on life for 2018. One month down the line and I have no words to associate with this way of life. It had strong points, weak points and points of pure surprise. Being un-ruled by uniformity and time limits, self given freedom, made days go by with such bliss. I would go to work and eat at odd times, do work in my own time and realized I worked better working at my own pace with no background harping from management behind me. How did I get management to back off my case, I didn't do it intentionally, it was a random out burst of frustration. I was handed a project to handle with a 2 day tight time frame, and, me going through a phase of rebellious change was not going to keep to this time frame, unless I truly wanted to, which at that point I didn't want to. I had brainstormed ideas and methods of completion of the work and choosing the quickest way forward. It was ...

Ever Beauty

I personally have never heard of  Ever Beauty® South Africa  , till I had come across the advert on Instagram. As a beauty and makeup addict, I was eager to see what the brand had to offer and if it was something to get excited about.  The brand was looking for brand ambassadors and MUA's to try out their products.  This is what the founder has to say about the brand:  "Ever Beauty® South Africa offers affordable, quality & professional makeup formulated to compliment the diverse range of skin tones across Southern Africa. The Ever Beauty® brand is all about using makeup as a platform to embrace peoples’ unique differences as well as inspire everyone to embark on the Ever Beauty® journey of capturing, owning and proudly embracing their own beauty." I had browsed their site and their products before signing up for their MUA starter kit, not looking at their pricing, because, at that point I wasn't interested in purchasing. I received an email re...
