BAR OF UNIQUENESS

I'm going to be reviewing the Dettol Even Tone Pomegranate hygiene soap bar

Product's mass :
175g

Product's claim :
Dettol’s trusted germ protection with a unique formula to leave your skin evenly toned, feeling healthy, clean and protected through-out the day.

How to use:
Store in a cool , well-ventilated place away from sunlight. Use twice daily .

Price:
R12,99

Product availability :
checkers , dis-chem , clicks, pick n pay and many more!

What I has to say about the product:
The scent:
I would describe the scent as a very fresh , spa-like smell, the pomegranate scent is alluring and calming . It's highly scented - it leaves my bathroom smelling amazing. However , when the product is applied to my body and face it's not overpowering which is a good thing in my books. It doesn't leave my skin tight or dry. Its moisturizing and delivers on its promise.

The package:
I think the pomegranate picture on the plastic package is a pop of color to the original pearl even tone soap bar. It's a versatile size and it fits perfectly with the scent of the product.

The quality:
I think the quality of this product is excellent . It lather's up really well and is creamy. 175g lasted 2 people just over a week.

My skin type:
Combination & acne-prone .

How did the product react with my skin:
First week:
During the first 3 days of usage my face and body, was taken by shock by the soap , however from the 4th day onward I have started to see immense results.

Second week:
My skin had become smoother , brighter and vibrant . Pimple has started to slowly fade as well as minor marks.

My overall results :
The only con about this product on my body and as well as my face is that it tends to make my face look dry after washing, yet it doesn't feel that way, but after i apply moisturizer i'm good to go. I would highly recommend this product for all you guys!.Hopefully you would be just as satisfied with this product as i am.

Dettol Even Tone pomegranate , you're a keeper!

XOXO

The power of the Haldi Ubtan

Lil spice never stop the sun from shining... 😂😂😂 In my previous post named "Turmeric for clear, bright and acne free skin" posted on the mid 2017, are some variations to this haldi ubtan, used for various skin types and conditions. I have been using and speaking about 'Turmeric Masks" before most people  and companies have been investing time and testing into turmeric and it's properties.. The new craze is the 'Golden magic of turmeric', and people are buying into it, without knowing the history and origin of it.  Here's a bit of Background: 5000 years ago on the Indian subcontinent, men and women took care of their skin and hair during rituals connected with religion.   In the ancient   Ayurveda   tradition, face and body masks called  U btan   were applied and adjusted according to the season. Ubtan masks are in fact the very first cosmetic product ever used in the world. Ubtan is a mix of various herbs, plants, roots and flowers

20 Buzziest Beauty Launches For March 2017

March 20, you can ditch your heavy overnight creams and vampy lipsticks for some lighter beauty choices. Expect an SPF body mousse, a mascara that looks like a gorgeous jewelry box, and the ultimate holographic highlighter palette. ABBA Always Fresh Dry Shampoo The natural hair-care category continues to grow. The latest is ABBA's Always Fresh Dry Shampoo . An update on havoc or maybe not, PART 2

Here, I thought part 2 would be typed and rolled out in no time, but, it's clearly no surprise that I have slacked and the release is so delayed.  I thought I'd give the havoc and unorganized lifestyle a bit more time and space to spill out in front of me before I give the verdict. Let me down right honest,  "I CANNOT DO THIS ANY LONGER!" I have seen the passed few months literally spill out at me, from unplanned events, to last minute clothing shopping and unexpected set backs, taking me a back. I prefer my daily to be more organised and structured to fit in time  for everything, I plan out months in advance if my wardrobe would need updating and changes, I am hands on with events and coordinating them accordingly, I normally can handle moments of unexpectedness if they rare. I have realized I'm too much of a controller and planner, I need to be organised and well prepared, to allow the unexpected to happen, I'm not one who loves to be surprised
