Mystique Galaxy Palette Part 2…

After my swatch review, I have decided to do a glamour ballet look using the Mystique Galaxy Palette to create the look. I picked on accents and colors from my choker as the bases of my inspiration for my look.

Using the following colors I have created this eye candy.

My second look was completely the opposite, no story or inspiration it was purely for color shock. To ensure that the product could handle the need for color and pigmentation and that it will endure the pressure of the weather and photography.

The colors used for this look

My final verdict is that, the palette is a cheaper version to the Jaclyn Hill Morphe Set and it is color intense and can give results if a  primer is used. The palette, it has a good color range with many popping ideas to create. I do find that there are 2 to 3 colors that have disappointed me as I have indicated in my previous post on this palette. The eye shadow set on a primer to allow for a light and easy to apply, they do not need too many layers to achieve the intense color look. The blend nicely and easily and mixing colors are effortless and they do not separate or become cracking plasters of powder once applied. I found the rage of colors allowed for me to create a nice intense and defined crease with a distinct array of pinks on my actual lid. The eye shadow did not cause any powdery residue or caking when a liquid liner was applied. The eye shadow and its intense color lasted for over 6 hours without movement. This was impressive for me at a family function, when all we do is hover over a heated stove and prepare tea for the masses. This palette is a good buy if you love to play with colors, ray of ideas and if you willing to spend a few extra moments to blend them to achieve the perfect blend to eye candy.

Oooh!, not all of us are on that track yet, especially not me. Skincare basics include: 1.   Nutrition -your diet has a direct impact on not on...

Move over... Creamy  color  correctors! There's a new set of skin-evening formulas in town, and they now come in powder form.    Allow me to introduce you to the just-launched Shiseido 7 Color Powders Revival Centennial Edition set, which features,  count 'em ,  seven color-correcting powders. In honor of Shiseido's O.G. Rainbow Beauty Powder, which launched in 1917 almost 100 years ago , the beauty giant just dropped a gorgeous, limited-edition set of color-correcting powders, all neatly packaged in small satin cream-colored boxes reminiscent of sweet little  engagement ring  boxes. Sadly, no sparklers were stashed in these mini cases. Like other color correctors on the market, these powders are designed to cover specific issues. So, for example, white, which should be applied to the T-zone, brightens; yellow evens out the complexion all over; beige smooths texture; rose, which should be brushed on the apples of ...
